The DiliTrust Suite Cockpit is a powerful new executive dashboard designed for General Counsels and Heads of Legal. It brings together all your legal data — from contracts, litigation, matters, entities, and board governance — into a single, unified command centre, enabling smarter decisions, faster.


⭐ What is the DiliTrust Suite Cockpit?

The Cockpit is a cross-module executive dashboard that aggregates real-time legal performance data from across the entire DiliTrust Suite. For the first time, legal leaders have a single place to monitor all key legal activities without switching between modules or manually consolidating reports.

The Cockpit is built for:

  • General Counsels (GCs) who need a real-time overview of the entire legal function
  • Heads of Legal who manage teams, track workloads, and report to executive leadership

✅ Prerequisites / Getting Started

Before accessing the Cockpit, make sure:

  • You have a DiliTrust Suite account with the Cockpit feature enabled
  • Your user role is General Counsel or Head of Legal (or equivalent admin role)
  • Your organisation has at least one DiliTrust module active (Contracts, Matters, Board Portal, Entities & Litigation)
  • Your administrator has configured the relevant modules and granted you access

The Cockpit is organised into seven key views, each designed to give you instant visibility into a specific area of your legal function:

1. Overview — Executive Dashboard

Your high-level command centre. At a glance, you can see:

  • Total number of open cases across all modules
  • Breakdown by module: contracts, litigation, matters, board meetings
  • Monthly and quarterly activity trends
  • SLA and deadline compliance rates
  • Workload per lawyer or team
  • Top 5 active legal risks
  • Financial impact: amounts in dispute, savings, recoveries

2. Entities & Litigation

Monitor your legal risks and financial exposure in real time:

  • Active, closed, and pending disputes
  • Breakdown by case type, jurisdiction, country, or legal entity
  • Total amount at stake and provisioned amount
  • Win/loss rate and average case duration
  • Alerts for upcoming hearings, limitation deadlines, and urgent actions

3. Contract Management

Control contract performance and compliance:

  • Number of contracts in draft, review, approval, or signature
  • Average contract lifecycle duration
  • Contracts expiring within 30, 60, or 90 days
  • Total financial value of active contracts
  • Compliance KPIs: missing clauses, deviations, unapproved versions

4. Matter Management

Track internal legal service demand and team performance:

  • Open, closed, and pending tickets
  • Average resolution time and SLA compliance
  • Breakdown by request type and requesting department

⭐ How to Access the Cockpit

  1. Log in to your DiliTrust Suite account
  2. From the main navigation menu, click on "Cockpit"
  3. The Overview dashboard loads by default, showing your global KPIs
  4. Use the left-hand navigation to switch between modules (Entities, Contracts, Matters, Board, Insights)
  5. Click on any KPI card or chart to drill down into the underlying data
  6. Use filters (date range, entity, team) to refine the view to your needs
  7. Configure alerts by clicking the bell icon and setting your notification preferences

✨ Tips & Best Practices

  • Start with the Overview: Get a bird's-eye view of your entire legal function before diving into specific modules
  • Set up alerts early: Configure deadline alerts for contracts and litigation as soon as you access the Cockpit — this will save time and reduce risk
  • Use filters consistently: Filtering by entity or time period gives you comparable, meaningful data for reporting to leadership
  • Leverage the drill-down: Any KPI can be explored in depth — click through from the summary to the underlying records for full context
  • Review weekly trends: The monthly and quarterly trend views are ideal for preparing board reports or executive updates

◻ Limitations & Known Constraints

  • The Cockpit displays data only from the DiliTrust modules your organisation has activated. If a module is not active, its section in the Cockpit will not display data.
  • Data in the Cockpit is near real-time — there may be a short delay (a few minutes) between an action taken in a module and its reflection in the Cockpit KPIs.
  • The Insights & Decision Support section requires sufficient historical data to generate meaningful trends and predictions. New accounts may see limited data initially.
  • Custom alert configurations are user-specific — each user must set up their own alert preferences.
  • Access to the Cockpit is role-based. Only users with General Counsel or Head of Legal roles (or equivalent) can access the full dashboard.

❓ FAQ

Who can access the DiliTrust Suite Cockpit?

The Cockpit is available to users with a General Counsel or Head of Legal role within DiliTrust. If you believe you should have access but don't, please contact your organisation's DiliTrust administrator.

Does the Cockpit replace the individual module dashboards?

No. The Cockpit is an additional layer on top of your existing modules. Individual module dashboards (e.g., contract lists, matter details) remain accessible as before. The Cockpit simply provides an aggregated executive view across all of them.

Can I export the Cockpit data?

Export capabilities (PDF, Excel) for Cockpit views are on our product roadmap. For now, you can use the drill-down feature to access underlying records and export from within each individual module.

How often is the data refreshed?

Cockpit data refreshes automatically in near real-time. You do not need to manually refresh the page to see updates.

Can I customise which KPIs appear on the Overview?

Customisation options for the Overview dashboard are planned for a future release. Currently, the layout and KPIs displayed are standard across all accounts.

I don't see one of the modules (e.g., Board Portal) in my Cockpit. Why?

A module section will only appear in the Cockpit if your organisation has that DiliTrust module active. Contact your account manager or our support team if you wish to activate additional modules.
