How to participate to a vote or a questionnaire?

This article explains how to answer a vote or a questionnaire you have been invited to, on the web version of Board Portal.

✋ Who can do what

• Participants invited to a vote or questionnaire answer it, change their vote and, when allowed, see the results.
• The meeting manager chooses who can vote and whether the results are displayed.

✅ Participants: vote

1. Go to the Meetings tab.
2. Open the meeting where your vote is waiting.
3. Click the vote icon next to the document or category. This icon means a vote is available.

4. Select your answer.
5. Click Confirm to save your choice.

Change your vote

1. Click the three dots next to the document or category.
2. Click You have voted for this document / category.
3. Click Cancel your vote, then vote again.

If the administrator allows it, you can also see the results here: the number of votes for each answer and the participation rate.

❔ Participants: answer a questionnaire

1. Click the questionnaire icon. The questionnaire window opens.
2. Answer the questions. Some sections and questions have a short description written by the questionnaire creator, for example the governance body concerned or how to answer. Section descriptions appear above the questions, and question descriptions appear under the question.
3. If needed, add a comment on a question, or a general comment for the whole questionnaire, to explain an answer or share feedback.
4. Submit your answers.

If the questionnaire is not anonymous, you can see the results in the Results summary or Detailed results tabs.

❓ FAQ

I cannot see the results. Why?

The meeting manager decides whether results are displayed. Results of anonymous questionnaires are not shown.

Can I change my answer after voting?

Yes. Cancel your vote, then vote again.
