DiliTrust Matter Management now supports multiple languages for custom fields and list values. Administrators can define translations for field names, dropdown values, reference list values, section names, and custom tables — enabling international teams to work in their preferred language.

Organizations operating across multiple countries often have legal teams that work in different languages. Previously, custom field names and list values in Matter Management were only available in the language they were originally configured in, creating friction for non-native speakers.
With multi-language support, administrators can now add translations for all configurable elements — including field names, dropdown list values, reference list values, section titles, and custom tables. This brings Matter Management in line with the multi-language capabilities already available in DiliTrust LEM and CLM modules.

- You must have an administrator role in DiliTrust Matter Management to configure translations.
- The languages you wish to support must be enabled in your organization's DiliTrust instance.
- Existing fields and list values can be updated with translations; no data migration is required.

Adding Translations to Custom Fields
- Navigate to Matter Management Settings and open the Matter Types configuration.
- Select the matter type you wish to update.
- For each field you want to translate, click the field and select the Translations option.
- Enter the translation for each supported language (e.g., English, French, Spanish).
- Save your changes. The field will now display in the user's preferred language.
Adding Translations to List Values
- In Settings, navigate to your Dropdown Lists or Reference Lists.
- Select the list you wish to translate.
- For each value in the list, click the edit icon and add translations for each supported language.
- You can also use the mass import option to upload translations in bulk via a spreadsheet.
