⚠️ RESTRICTED ACCESS — This feature is exclusively available to certain clients under a specific contractual agreement. If you believe you should have access and cannot see this feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager.
The Advanced Data & Search capabilities in DiliTrust CLM transform how users find, filter, and export contract information. From surfacing full contract bundles in search results, to saving personalised search masks and exporting structured datasets, these features make the contractual repository more powerful and actionable. Features are progressively delivered across multiple lots.
⭐ Introduction
Searching across a large contract repository should be fast, intelligent, and complete. DiliTrust CLM's Advanced Data & Search features go beyond basic keyword search by surfacing contractual relationships in results, enabling attribute-based filtering from a clean side panel, and allowing users to save and share their search configurations for consistent, repeatable queries. Exportability of results adds an extra layer of operational value for reporting and audits.
Below you will find each capability described with its current delivery status and planned date.

✅ Contract Bundles in Search Results — Delivered: April 22, 2026
Search results now surface not only individual contract documents, but also their contractual relationships. When a document is part of a bundle, the search result shows the document alongside the other linked documents in its bundle — giving users the full contractual context without additional navigation.
What this means in practice
- Run a search query as usual from the CLM search bar.
- Results display matching documents together with their linked bundle members (parent, siblings, children).
- This allows you to quickly identify all contracts related to a search result, without opening each one individually.

⏳ Ergonomic Attribute-Based Search (Side Panel) — Planned: July 1, 2026
Today's search experience is based on keyword input. The upcoming ergonomic search mode introduces a structured, attribute-by-attribute approach via a dedicated side panel — allowing users to build precise, multi-criteria queries without typing complex search strings.
How the ergonomic search will work
- Toggle from the standard keyword search to the Attribute Search mode.
- A side panel opens, listing all available attributes (counterparty name, contract value, start date, status, etc.).
- Select attributes and define filter values (e.g., "Contract value > 500,000 EUR", "Status = Active").
- Results update in real time as you add or modify filters.
- Switch back to keyword search at any time without losing your filter configuration.

⏳ Search Mask Saving & Sharing — Planned: July 1, 2026
Repeating the same search every week is time-consuming. With this feature, users will be able to save their search configurations as named "masks" and share them with colleagues — ensuring that the entire team can run consistent, pre-built queries with a single click.
How search mask saving will work
- Build a search query (keyword or attribute-based).
- Click Save this search and give the mask a descriptive name.
- The saved mask appears in your personal search library.
- To share: click Share on a saved mask and select the user(s) or team(s) to share it with.
- Recipients can access the shared mask in their own search library and run it instantly.
Use cases
- A legal team manager creates a mask for "All active contracts expiring within 90 days" and shares it with the whole team.
- A compliance officer saves a mask for "Contracts with GDPR clause missing" for weekly review.
⏳ Export from Search Results — Planned: July 1, 2026
Once a search has returned the relevant contracts, users will be able to export the results in multiple formats for reporting, auditing, or external analysis purposes.
What can be exported
- Documents: Export the actual contract files from the result set.
- PDFs: Export documents as PDF renderings.
- Summary sheets (fiches de synthèse): Export structured attribute data for each result.
- Results table: Export the entire search results table as a spreadsheet.
How export will work
- Run your search and review the results.
- Select the documents you want to export (or select all).
- Click Export and choose the export format.
- The export is prepared and downloaded to your device.
✨ Tips & Best Practices
- Take advantage of bundle display in search results (available now) to quickly navigate the full contractual context of any search result — no need to open each related document separately.
- When the ergonomic search (side panel) is released in July 2026, invest time in building your standard search masks early — these will become your team's go-to shortcuts.
- Share search masks with junior team members to ensure they run searches consistently and retrieve the right data.
- Use the export function (coming July 2026) for contract portfolio reviews, board reporting, or compliance audits.
- Combine attribute-based filtering with keyword search for highly targeted results — for example, filtering by counterparty name and then searching within those results for a specific clause term.
◾ Limitations & Known Constraints
- Attribute-based ergonomic search (side panel), search mask saving, and export from search results are all planned for July 1, 2026 — they are not yet available.
- The current search experience is keyword-based only. Multi-attribute filtering from a structured panel is a forthcoming capability.
- Exports from search results will only be available after July 1, 2026. Until then, documents must be downloaded individually from the document view.
- Search mask sharing requires both the creator and the recipient to have access to the same contract repository scope.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Does the search currently show linked documents in results?
Yes — as of April 22, 2026, search results display documents alongside their bundle members (linked contracts within the same liasse contractuelle). This is already live and available.
When will I be able to filter search by specific attributes like contract value or expiry date?
Attribute-based filtering via a side panel is planned for July 1, 2026 (Lot 6). Until then, searches are keyword-based.
Can I share my saved search with external users?
Search mask sharing is designed for internal users within the same DiliTrust CLM instance. Sharing with external users or outside the platform is not supported.
What formats will be available for export?
The planned export will support contract documents (original format), PDFs, individual summary sheets (fiches de synthèse), and a structured results table (spreadsheet format). Final format options will be confirmed at delivery.
Will exported data include metadata as well as documents?
Yes — the export feature is designed to include both the documents and their associated structured metadata (summary sheet fields), making it suitable for compliance reporting and contract portfolio analysis.
