⭐ Introduction
The DiliTrust MCP server lets you connect DiliTrust to the AI assistant or automation tool your organisation already uses. Once connected, your assistant can look up your DiliTrust data and answer your questions in plain language, without you opening the DiliTrust platform.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect securely to business applications. Any MCP-compatible tool can connect to DiliTrust: AI assistants (Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT…) as well as automation platforms (n8n, Make…).
To learn what your assistant can do once connected (available tools, example questions, limitations), see Suite – Use DiliTrust from your AI assistant.
☝ Before you start
Make sure you have:
- An MCP-compatible AI assistant or automation tool, with the right to add a connector, a tool or an MCP server.
- A DiliTrust user account. Each person signs in with their own account, and their DiliTrust rights apply.
- The DiliTrust MCP connection details, provided by DiliTrust once your organisation has subscribed.
✅ How it works
Whatever your tool, the setup follows the same three steps:
- Add DiliTrust as an MCP server in your tool (often called a connector, tool or MCP server), using the DiliTrust MCP server URL:
https://mcp.dilitrust.com - Set up the authentication. The DiliTrust MCP server uses OAuth 2.0. Depending on your tool, enter the connection details provided by DiliTrust.
- Sign in with your DiliTrust account when prompted, accept the requested access, then ask a first question to check that it works.
⚡ Step-by-step guides by tool
Follow the guide for your tool:
- Microsoft 365 Copilot & Teams — [Admin] Set up a Microsoft Copilot Studio agent connected to DiliTrust
- Claude — coming soon
- ChatGPT — coming soon
- n8n — coming soon
- Make — coming soon
All guides are in the folder DiliTrust in AI Assistants – DiliTrust MCP.
✋ Security & permissions
- Your DiliTrust rights apply everywhere. Your assistant only accesses what you can already access in DiliTrust.
- Your connection is personal. Each person signs in with their own DiliTrust account.
- Read-only. Your assistant cannot modify your DiliTrust data.
⛔ Limitations & known constraints
- Your tool must support remote MCP servers using the Streamable HTTP transport and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Available modules and tools are listed in Suite – Use DiliTrust from your AI assistant. New capabilities are added progressively.
