Suite – Legal Research and Analysis with Lini

Modified on Fri, 23 Oct at 3:17 PM

Lini is the AI assistant built into DiliTrust. It can search published law for you. It can also analyze your platform data and documents, and combine both in one answer.

This helps you answer legal questions and prepare evidence-based work faster.

This works in Board Portal, Legal Entity Management and Matter Management.

⭐ What Lini can do for you

  • Legal research: Lini searches legislation, case law and legal doctrine (commentary written by legal experts) in more than 230 jurisdictions.
  • Analysis of your content: Lini compares documents, summarizes several documents together and pulls out key facts in a structured way.
  • Both together: Lini combines the facts of your case or your platform data with cited legal sources. It can structure the result as a memo, a summary or another analysis you ask for.

☝ How legal research works

  1. Ask your question. Say which country or jurisdiction applies. Example: “Under French law, is a 2-year non-compete clause enforceable?”

  1. If the jurisdiction is not clear, Lini asks you to confirm it before searching.
  2. Lini searches the published sources and checks every citation.
  3. Lini answers and lists the sources behind its answer.

In the answer, Lini clearly separates three things: what comes from a source, its own analysis, and any assumptions it made.

✅ Examples in each product

Board Portal

Quorum and majority rules, directors’ duties, governance history, consistency of decisions, and evidence for an audit or a dispute.

Example: “Under French law, what quorum applies to a board meeting held by videoconference?”

Legal Entity Management

Length of mandates, corporate and filing obligations, ownership and governance data, and comparisons between documents and recorded data.

Example: “Under Belgian law, what must be filed after a director is appointed?”

Matter Management

Enforceability of clauses, case law for a dispute, regulatory requirements, document chronologies, risk analysis, and financial or deadline information.

Example: “Find French Supreme Court case law on the abrupt termination of established commercial relationships.”

❗ Limits

  • This is legal research and analysis, not legal advice. A qualified professional must review the result before you rely on it. Lini reminds you of this in its answers.
  • Lini only analyzes the platform data and documents you are allowed to access.
  • For important decisions, open the sources Lini cites and check them.
