Is the electronic signature reliable?

Yes, the electronic signature is reliable.

By analogy with the handwritten signature of a paper document, the digital or electronic signature corresponds to a sequence of characters which guarantees the integrity of an electronic document as well as authenticates its author.
In France and at European level, the electronic signature has the same legal value as a handwritten signature, according to Article 1367 of the Civil Code.
There are three levels of signature recognized by the eIDAS regulation, varying according to the degree of reliability required by the signatories.
The Civil Code in its article 1316-4 recognizes that the reliability of the electronic signature is presumed.
Furthermore, as soon as the identification of the signatory is a necessary element for the perfection of a legal act, the signatory within the framework of the use of DiliTrust will be identified and will proceed to the signature from his email address. The receipt of a confirmation e-mail which only the signatory can access allows him to proceed with the signature.
Finally, the identification of the signatories, the integrity of the document and the non-repudiation of the signature are guaranteed by the electronic signature providers. Once the signature has been affixed to the document, it cannot be falsified.

We currently have a partnership with DocuSign, Hellosign, Universign and can also be integrated with other e-signature tools. We are approved to perform this manipulation with its extended tuning system platform.
