Cancel a workflow

When launching a workflow, the process can be canceled as long as the document has not been validated or signed yet. But the process can also be canceled after a user refused to validate or sign the document.

For security reasons, once the contract is validated or signed, you can no longer cancel the workflow. Only the person that launched the workflow can cancel it.

To cancel a workflow :

  • Open the document
  • Access the Workflow tab
  • Click on cancel workflow

The people in the workflow will be notified of the cancelation.

Modify the document after a validation/signature refusal

When you launch a validation or signature workflow, and it is rejected, the people involved in the workflow will be notified by email and will receive a notification on DiliTrust. In addition, the document's workflow status will indicate that the document has been rejected.

Click on Read Comment, to see the comment left by the person who rejected the document.

Thus, after a proofreading, validation or signature rejection, the DiliTrust users involved in the workflow will be prompted to edit or import a new version of the document.

You can either :

  • Click on Edit and make your changes directly on the document, if it was written from DiliTrust, or
  • Click on Import and upload a new version of the document

If you have linked documents, importing a new version will not overwrite the link between the documents, your linked documents (appendices, riders or other documents) will be kept.

Start over the workflow

After you have made your changes or imported a new version. You can restart the process.

The same workflow will then be started again.

You can repeat this operation as many times as necessary.
