The CLM platform allows you to integrate seamlessly with DocuSign to send and manage electronic signatures directly from your contracts. This article explains how to configure the integration step by step.
☝ Before You Start
Please note:
- We recommend using a generic or technical account (e.g. no-reply@client.com or legal@client.com) instead of a personal account. ✅
- If a personal account is used and the person leaves the company, the service will be interrupted. ❌
- You need to ask our Support Team to activate the feature flag “eSignature managed by the client” before you can set up the integration.
⚡ Step-by-Step Setup
1️⃣ Activate the Feature
Contact the Support Team and request activation of the feature flag “eSignature managed by the client”.
2️⃣ Access the Configuration Screen
In CLM, go to: Configuration > eSignature.
3️⃣ Enter Required Information
Fill in the following fields using details from your DocuSign account:
- User ID
- API Account ID
- Account Base URI
You can find these details in your DocuSign account by navigating to: Admin menu > Integrations > Apps & Keys.
4️⃣ Complete Other Required Fields
Ensure all other mandatory fields in the configuration screen are filled in.
5️⃣ Save the Settings
Click Save once all information is entered.
6️⃣ Authorize the Integration
Click on Authorize. You will be redirected to DocuSign and prompted to authenticate. Once completed, you will be redirected back to the DiliTrust homepage.
7️⃣ Test the Integration
Send a test signature request to verify that everything is working correctly. ✅

❓ Troubleshooting
- If you cannot find your DocuSign credentials, check Admin > Integrations > Apps & Keys in DocuSign.
- If the Authorize step fails, make sure your credentials are correct and that your account has the necessary permissions.
- Contact Support if you need help activating the feature flag or encounter persistent errors.
