How to draft a contract on DiliTrust?

You can write a contract directly on DiliTrust, using contract templates that you have created and configured beforehand and which will then be available to your users to create a new contract.

⚠️ To be able to write a contract from a template, the user concerned must have access to the contract drafting module. His Role must indeed allow him to at least visualize the models of contracts. If he has editing rights on the contract models, he can also modify them.

To create a new contract, the user will have to:

Have you already created your contract (as a Word document, for instance) and do not need to draft it on DiliTrust? If, so you just need to upload it to DiliTrust to carry out the rest of the validation and signature process. To learn more, see the dedicated article.

 

Create a new contract by clicking on "Draft new"

To write a new contract:

  • Click on "Add a document" at the top left of your screen, then on "Draft new"

Select the template he wants to use to draft his new contract

Then fill in the following information:

  • Add a title for your document.
  • Select the type of document corresponding to the contract you want to create. You can select this type among those for which one or more contract templates are available.
  • Select the template you want to use to write your contract.
  • Select the folder in which this new contract will be stored
    To create your contract, you must first select the file in which the contract will be placed.
  • Finally, click on Next.

Complete your contract's key information

In the next step, complete the information that will be used to autocomplete your contract with this information from the chosen template:

  • Complete all the fields of the form with the requested information
    ⚠️ The document can only be generated if all the variable fields are correctly filled.
    The expected information is generally:
    • Linked to the contracting parties: Corporate name of the various entities, Siren number, Legal representative, etc.
    • Linked to the terms of execution of the contract: Amount of the contract, Duration of the contract, etc.
  • Click on Next

Edit and finalize the contract

Your contract is then generated, and you go to the contract edition step, which will allow you to finalize it before going on to its validation and signature.


?: Note that, as long as your document is in Drafting, you will not be able to see the summary sheet.
To see the summary sheet, validate your document to leave the Drafting mode. In the workflow tab, click on validation/signature.

During this editing step:

  • You see in green the key information of your contract filled out in the previous form.
    To modify any of this information, click on the desired one and in the edit window, make your modifications, then click Confirm.

  • You can modify the main text according to your possible needs: modify the title, delete an article, replace it with another, add an article, add an appendix at the end of the contract, etc.
    This editing step works like any word processor (such as Microsoft Word), so it's up to you to make your changes as desired.

  • Having any doubt on your contract information ? Do you need to ask a colleague about a clause or any other information before finalizing your contract?

  • You can also ask for your document to be reviewed internally or by externally. To learn more, see the dedicated article.

Finally, to go to the next steps for validating and signing your contract, click on Approve and sign.
You will then be prompted to:
