The summary sheet allows you to summarize the key information of your contracts.

The summary sheet can be specific depending on the type of contract to which it is attached. For example, for a commercial Lease contract, the summary sheet will include the following specific fields by default: Rental area, Amount of rent, etc.

In this article, find everything you need to know about the summary sheet:

Objectives of the summary sheet: why complete it?

Completing the summary sheet of your contracts is useful for various reasons:

  • Set up manual reminders and apply automatic reminders based on the key dates of your contracts;
  • Export all the key information and clauses of all your contracts in a few clicks;
  • Have a reliable and exhaustive contract database.

Create and access a summary sheet

The summary sheet is automatically created when a document is uploaded and opened.

To access a summary sheet, you simply need to open the corresponding document you want.

By opening a contract, your summary sheet appears on the right of your screen.

Structure of the summary sheet

The main sections of your summary sheets are:

  • Entity: contains information related to your company (depending on your settings or the type of contract concerned, the name may be different: Entity, Contracting party, or even "Lessor" for "Commercial lease" type contracts, etc.)

  • Counterparty: contains information related to the counterparty of the contract (depending on your settings or the type of contract concerned, the name may be different: Co-contractor, or even "Tenant" for "Commercial lease" type contracts, etc.)

  • Dates and durations: contains all the key dates of your contract. These dates have a direct impact on the status of your contract.
    For example: the effective date has passed, but the expiration date is in the future, your contract will automatically be indicated as "In progress".

  • Important information: Key contract information.
    For example: clause on the subject of the contract, applicable law, financial terms clauses, etc.

  • Other information: If you want to add information that is not normally part of the summary sheet, it will be added in this section.

Depending on your specific settings, you may see other types of sections appear.

Nature of the information in the summary sheet

On DiliTrust, summary sheets consist of two types of information:

  • Attribute: this can be specific information in the form of text, date, amount, etc.

  • Clause: these are clauses, materialized by blocks of text within your contract.
