Advanced Search -Use Cases

Quickly and easily find the desired documents, with the Advanced Search, located at the top right of your screen next to the search bar.

In this article, find examples on how to use the advanced search :

The criteria are cumulative. To refine your search you can cumulate criteria from your summary sheet, dates and type of document.

Search by document type

To search for a document depending on its type, under the type section, in the advanced search :

  • Click on the 3rd bloc and select document type
  • Enter the needed document type, you can select many at once

To narrow your search, click on the filters and select the filters needed.

How to search in a folder

To look for a document or other information in a specific folder, click on the first block, and select the folder in which you want to do your search.

 

Depending on your needs, add filters. If you wish to find in the folder, service agreement contracts with the force majeure clause:

  • Select folder in the 1st block
  • Add a filter and select document type
  • Choose service agreement contract
  • Add another filter and select clause
  • Choose force majeure

Find your service agreement contracts in the folder of your choice containing a force majeure clause.

You can perform this search with more or different filters, such as dates or other attributes. 

By clicking on the columns to the right of your search results, display the attributes or clauses of your choice in the table to access them and see the information of your choice at a glance.

Search according to information in the summary sheet (attribute)

Search by missing clause. When you indicate in a summary sheet that a clause is missing, in the advanced search, you can search for the document in which the clause (attributes) are missing.

  • Click on the 2nd search block and choose Missing 
  • Select in the next block Clause
  • Enter the name of the clause you are looking for, in this case Personal data

You will then have the list of contracts in which the clause is indicated as missing. To refine your search, for example by type of document :

  • Click on Add a filter
  • Select Document Type
  • Choose the type of document you want, "Service Agreement".

Search by dates and other criteria

You can search by the different dates in your contract and add filters to refine your search. For example, find your confidentiality contracts signed by a co-contractor, with an expiration date between 2 dates of your choice.

  • Click in the 3rd block, Document type and select Confidentiality agreement (and other types if necessary)
  • Add a filter and select the counterparty of your choice (in your repository or among your company names)
  • Add another filter, this time expiration date
  • Choose the condition Between
  • Select among the dates of your choice.

Validate your search.

By adding the expiry date column to your table, you will be able to see, without having to open the contract, the expiry dates of your research results.

At any time, export your search results by clicking on the dedicated icon. You will soon receive in your mailbox the Excel table that you can use according to your needs. The export of search results can be activated or deactivated according to your role.
