DiliTrust LEM x CLM Integration Guide

Modified on Wed, 1 Oct at 4:01 PM

The LEM x CLM integration allows you to use your Legal Entity Management (LEM) module as a repository for your Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) module. This ensures that company data from LEM is always up to date in CLM, avoiding duplication and saving time when managing contracts.

☝ Prerequisites

For LEM

For CLM

  • Ask to activate the LEM Reports sync feature.
  • Ensure you have permission to edit Connectors settings.

⭐ Step 1 – Initial Configuration

1.1 On the LEM Tenant

  • Go to Configuration → User access management → Tokens management.
  • Create a new token (⚠️ it will only be shown once – copy and save it securely).
  • A pseudo-user will be automatically created (name starts with api-users + token name).
  • Communicate the token and pseudo-user to your CLM tenant administrator.

1.2 On the CLM Tenant

  • Go to Configuration → Integration with Entities.
  • Select the correct platform (e.g., Europe 2).
  • Enter the pseudo-user name and token value in the relevant fields.

⭐ Step 2 – Repository Configuration

2.1 On the LEM Tenant

  • Under Reports, create a report with all company details you want to share with CLM.
  • Click Convert to repository → this creates a LEM repository based on the report.
  • ⚠️ Note: The repository is independent of the report (editing the report won’t affect the repository).

  • Set permissions so the pseudo-user can read the repository.

  • The repository is now listed in Reports → Repositories.

2.2 On the CLM Tenant

  • Go to Configuration → Repository.
  • Click Show more to display available LEM repositories and select the one to add.
  • Map Repository fields (LEM) → CLM Attributes (e.g., Company Name → Entity Name).

  • You can remove unnecessary fields by clicking the ❌ icon.
  • Select a Key Attribute (e.g., Company’s name) and click Validate.

⭐ Step 3 – Sync & Verification

  • The repository is now set up ✅.

  • After a short delay, CLM will automatically sync with LEM and load the repository.
  • Repositories coming from LEM are identifiable with a DiliTrust icon in CLM.

❓ FAQs

What happens if I lose the token?

You will need to generate a new token in LEM and reconfigure the integration in CLM.

Can I use multiple repositories?

Yes. You can create multiple LEM repositories and map each one to CLM attributes as needed.

How do I know if the sync worked?

In CLM, repositories synced from LEM are clearly marked with the DiliTrust icon. Data should appear in the repository list after a few minutes.

⚡ Summary

The LEM x CLM integration makes it easier to manage company data and contracts by synchronizing repositories. Once activated, CLM always has access to the latest company details from LEM, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across your governance and contract workflows.
