The ownership chain feature lets you trace the direct path of control from any entity up to the top of your group hierarchy.

⭐ What is the ownership chain?
The ownership chain is a visual highlight that shows the direct path of ownership from a selected entity up through all parent entities to the top of the group. It helps you quickly understand who controls what without manually tracing each arrow across the chart.
✅ How to display the ownership chain
To highlight the ownership chain for a specific entity, follow these steps:
- Open the Configuration panel located on the right side of your screen.
- Locate the dedicated Ownership chain field.
- Click on the field and select the entity you want to focus on.
The chart will instantly update, highlighting the direct line of control for your selected entity while the rest of the group structure fades into the background.
✨ When is this useful?
- When preparing legal or compliance reports on a specific subsidiary.
- When responding to a C-level question about the control structure of a specific company.
- During an acquisition review, to quickly understand who holds control upstream.
