There may be times when you may not be able to upload a document in DiliTrust by following normal steps.
If you come across a situation where you try to download a document, but it does not load, what should you do?
1. Check access rights
This involves checking the user's access rights to the folder where he wants to import a document. If the user has Reading permission, he can only view the contents of the folder, but he cannot make changes to documents, such as importing a new document. To do this, you must have Writing permission.
Consult the dedicated article to learn how to change permissions, if your role allows you to.
2. Make sure your computer clock is correct
If, despite having the writing permission, the problem persists, then you may have the following problem:
The problem you might be facing
DiliTrust uses the time stamp provided by the servers to keep track of each user's activity. When a computer's clock settings have been manually set and then disconnected from the server clock, it creates a slight time difference. When this delay exceeds 1 minute, we block the download of the document.
How to fix your problem
You need to make sure that the clock settings are synchronized automatically, depending on the internet servers. To do this, you need to go to Start> Settings> Time & Language> Date & Time and make sure your clock is in sync.
Once done, you should successfully upload documents. In any case, if you still cannot upload a document, please contact our support team.
